History

Paulsen & Ivers GmbH & Co KG has a long tradition in maritime shipping. Founded in Kiel at the end of the 19th century, Paulsen & Ivers itself operated a fleet of cargo ships which sailed as far as North America. After the end of the Second World War, Paulsen & Ivers ceased its activities and was re-established as a maritime logistics company in Hamburg in 2009.

Establishment of liner service Kiel – Körsör /DK on May 01, 1950 with 4 ships

Paulsen & Ivers Schifffahrts- und Kohlenhandelsgesellschaft mbH ceases operations

Foundation of the company Paulsen & Ivers GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg / Veddel

 

Relocation from the Hamburg district of Veddel to Wilhelmsburg, Alte Schleuse 13-15

Paulsen & Ivers receives DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certification

Purchase of the 1st coach for the Coach Hire & Car Service department

Purchase of the 2nd coach for the Coach Hire & Car Service department

Test

Fleet expansion to 8 buses, 3 vehicles for car service and 2 trailers (incl. bicycle transport).
